THE ORGANISATION

THE ORGANISATION

Asansol Anandam, A Special Child Development & Vocational Training Centre, located at Asansol, West Bengal, has been striving for the cause of special children since 1992. The services rendered by the centre include assessment, counseling special educational facilities and therapeutic services to the physically handicapped, hearing impaired, autistic, mentally retarded, emotionally disturbed and cerebral palsied children. Furthermore, pre-vocational and vocational training is also provided to the special children of the special school. The organization has its own building covering area approx. 8600 Sq. ft. & the construction of 1st floor of the centre is almost completed. The centre is privileged with Grant-in-Aid from the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi since 1998-1999. Collection of public donations, subscriptions, sale of coupons, donations from corporate sectors, fund raising programmes etc. is the main source of income to maintain the daily activities of the organization.
